Spirituality in Health and Social Care Practice Workshop
On Thursday 6th March 2008, 62 participants met at Birmingham City University to share thoughts about the nature and role of spirituality in health and social care practice and to consider how to support a growing interest in this topic in education and practice. Joint sponsorship from the Higher Education Academy Health Sciences and Practice Subject Group and Birmingham City University Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning enabled a multi-professional group of representatives from faith groups, hospital and university chaplains, practitioners, service users, students and academics to spend a day alongside one another.
