Interprofessional Education (IPE)

Interprofessional education (IPE) refers to two or more professions learning with from and about each other in order to provide quality services to individuals, families and communities. Effective Interprofessional education enables effective collaborative practice (CP). The WHO framework for IPE and CP synthesises the current literature providing a helpful guide to inform future developments.

Despite the evidence, IPE remains a challenging area in which to work since logistics and professional cultures are not necessarily favourable. These pages offer you resources and activities that will help move this area of work forward.
